Rental Order Terms

EVA Design Solutions has a wide selection of costumes, dresses, and accessories that are available for rent. When our product is available for rent, the details are listed in the description section of this item. You can pay the rental fee along with the refundable security deposit through our website, on the product's page.

Procedure 
​

To rent one of the EVA Design Solutions costumes, accessories, or clothing items, first, you need to contact us directly about the item availability and sizing.  Please text, call or email us at 240 338 3447 or evadesignsolutions@gmail.com.  We will get back to you within a day confirming the costume availability. 

 

After confirming all the details about the rental costume, rental dates, prices, etc., we expect you to make a payment for your rental along with a refundable security deposit, and an estimated shipping fees.

 

The security deposit is required for all rental items as a security measure in case the rental costume is damaged or lost by the client. The deposit is usually is in the amount of the cost of the costume, item or accessory which is being rented. Once we receive the costume back from you undamaged and unaltered, the security deposit will go back to your original form of payment.

After receiving your payment, we will ship the rented product to you and specify the tracking number of the shipment. Usually, you can expect the rental to arrive a day or 2 before your event day or actual rental date.

Please note that shipping costs are the responsibility of the client, we do not provide shipping labels for return shipment. We advise that you use shipping services that can provide a tracking number for your return shipment. 

 

The costume/garment/accessory should be returned to us in its original form, unaltered and undamaged, in a clean condition, free of stains and odors/perfumes. In case of alterations, damage, or stains additional fees will be charged.

We expect to get our product back from you by the date specified during our confirmation process or no later than 2 weeks after your event day. If we have not received the rental back in 2 weeks, we will charge the late fee first, and after another 3 weeks, we will consider it is your responsibility that the costume is lost, and the security deposit will not be returned to you.

Rental Cost Info

​

Please note that regular rental period for our costumes  or accessories is two days, unless other rental periods are agreed upon during the confirmation process. Therefore, we advise that you choose rental days wisely to save on renal costs as well as to give others a chance to rent the costume. 

​

Cancelation
​

You are entitled to cancel your rental order within the first 24 hours without giving any reason for doing so. The funds will be reimbursed to you within 10 business days from the original order. 

After the first 24 hours, the rental order is non-refundable. 

​

Timeframe
​

Please allow sufficient time for your rental order to be approved, processed, and shipped. Processing of the order might take around 7-14 days, shipping and delivery about a week, and international shipping might require 2-5 weeks. Please consider that we need extra time to process orders around holidays, especially Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine’s day. We are not responsible if your order cannot be completed and shipped on time when you submitted your request too late.

Deposit
​

All rentals require a security deposit (prices vary depending on each item, the number of items, and the rental period). The security deposit is to be charged with the rental fee and will be credited back to your original method of payment when the rental return is completed (assuming all items returned in the same condition as rented out).

Alterations
​

If you altered the rented costume/garment to fit you, it must be returned in its original condition. If a costume/garment is returned altered or damaged, additional fees will be charged. Costumes/garments may NOT be cut, dyed, painted, or embellished. Tape, iron-on bonding web, glue, or any other type of adhesives may NOT be used on costumes/garments. An additional fee will be charged in case any of the above procedures were performed to the costume/garment.

Damaged or Lost Costumes
​

Normal wear and tear on costumes is expected and won’t incur extra charges. Damage beyond normal wear and tear will incur damage charges. Damage charges will be assessed for broken zippers, detached garment pieces, make-up, or other permanent stains, or any other damages that render the costume not rentable. They include the cost of the supplies needed to restore the garment to its original state as well as labor costs. Major damage to costumes, including irreparable tears, or irreversible marks will be assessed at the replacement value of the costume. Damages, if any, will be assessed within 14 days upon the receipt of the rental.

 

Lost or damaged costumes will be assessed with a lost/damaged costume fee of the replacement or repair value determined by EVA Design Solutions, and not by the current market value.   

 

EVA Design Solutions is not responsible for loss or damage of the costume/garment/accessory by its customers or by any third parties, including shipping services or international customs. 

 

EVA Design Solutions is not responsible for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim. 

 

We are not responsible for orders that have not arrived due to incorrect address details you’ve provided at the time of your order, problems with customs, or loss of the product by postal services. 

 

We will not reimburse you for any fees you paid for our product or service if the product has been damaged or lost en route to you by any third party, including postal or custom services.   

 

If the product you rented from us has been lost or damaged because of your or anybody else’s actions or during the return process due to the actions of the postal or customs services, you will be liable for the replacement/repair amount of the product you rented. Therefore, we advise you to take good care of the rental product and use shipping services that provide tracking numbers and insurance.

Late Returns
​

If the rented costume/garment/accessory has been returned after the agreed date, every week that the costume was late, we will charge $100 per costume/garment and $50 for the accessory item. 

​

Disclaimer
​

EVA Design Solutions is not responsible or liable to the renter for personal injury or death to any person, or property damage arising out of or in connection with said items owned or rented out by EVA Design Solutions. The renter agrees to use the costumes or other items specified in this agreement at the renter’s own risk.
